As mentioned, in order to be member of the forum, you must join by registering. It’s a quick and painless process that lets s know who you are and what your interests are.

How to Join the Forum (JOIN NOW)

The top left of the forum site has a place where you can login if you are already a member or register if you are not a member and you want to join. See the figure below:

Click on Register and you will be brought to the Register page. You have to fill this page out only once.

Here's an example of a filled in registration form:

Choose Username:

Make up any name you want. This is the name you will be known by in the forums. This is not your email address.

You can use anything you want as long as another member is not using it already.

Email:

Enter your email address here.

Choose Password:

Make up a password. This password will be required in order to use the forum and read any other message boards other than the very first Welcome Board.

Continue Filling in The Fields:

ALl the rest of the fields are standard questions about you and your mesa land.

Verify Password:

The systems requires you t o retype your password to make sure you've typed it correctly and you understand exactly what the word or phrase is. Needless to say PLEASE write your password down some place. Inmost cases you can request your browser remember it so the next time you go to the forum, the password is filled in for you.

Visual Verification:

This is a security method used on many web sites today. Because there are many software programs hat can "phish" for emails and passwords, the designers want to verify that the form is being filled out by an actual human. A human can look through the noise on the page to decipher the crooked images. What you type must match the crooked letters. These are case sensitive.

Check the "I Agree" Box:

After your fill out all of the fields in the form, read the terms of agreement. It's a basic agreement saying you will not forward this information and you will abide by federal guidelines in being honest and clean in your posts. I don't think we'll have any problems there! This box must be checked or the form will not process.

Click the "Register" Button:

The last step is to click the register button. This will send your request to the forum moderators and you will receive an email confirming receipt of your request for registration.

After your membership is approved, you will receive a second email message telling you that you have been approved and you can now read the forums.
